Our Journey: Over a Decade of Supporting Quran Memorization
An Idea Is Born
On 21 May 2011, our journey began. The inspiration to split Quranic audio files into smaller segments was conceived, laying the foundation for easier Quran memorization through listening.
21 May 2011Our Domain Is Purchased
On 14 December 2012, we took the next step by purchasing our domain, Aswaatul Qurraa. This name, meaning "The Voices of The Reciters," perfectly encapsulated our vision to share a unique collection of MP3 Quran.
14 December 2012Our Website Is Launched
The Aswaatul Qurraa website went live on 15 February 2013. With a straightforward design, it stood out as the first of its kind, offering Quranic MP3s in Parahs, Quarters, and Pages.
15 February 2013A Poem Is Penned
To promote our website, we envisioned a nasheed. On 25 December 2016, Abdullah bin Majed composed a heartfelt poem that would become the lyrics for our signature nasheed.

On 2 September 2017, our journey reached new heights with the release of our nasheed by the renowned munshid, Muhammad al Muqit. This moment marked a significant growth in our mission, accompanied by a new website design and the introduction of the mutashabihat section.

Its pearls scattered, strewn through various oceans, Enjoyed emphatically by isolated individuals.
Strenuous is its acquiring; difficult is its finding. But gather them altogether, and its rewards will be blinding.
