When a letter with a Fatha (َ) or Dammah (ُ) appear before the name of Allah, it will be pronounced with a broad sound or a full mouth.

Examples:

َ

When a letter with a Kasra (ِ) appears before the name of Allah, it will be pronounced with a thin sound or an empty mouth.

Examples:

ِ

However, the Laam Mushaddadah (لّ) is read with a thin sound or empty mouth.

Examples:
